Synopsis
Blood Debt concludes the main sequence of the Blood Books, following Vicki Nelson as a new supernatural case, tangled with debts and obligations from beyond the ordinary world, brings her investigative partnership with the vampire Henry Fitzroy to a head in the city of Toronto they have worked to protect since Blood Price. As the series' recurring blend of hardboiled detective work and supernatural menace reaches its final volume, Vicki and Henry must draw on everything their partnership has built across the preceding novels, including hard-won knowledge of the supernatural threats hidden within the ordinary city, to see the case through, closing out the central arc of investigations that began with Vicki's first encounter with Henry.
