Synopsis

Rupert is the second son of the king of the Forest Kingdom, a realm short of money and split by feuding court factions. His father sends him to slay a dragon, a quest that is expected to get him killed. Rupert must cross the Darkwood, where demons, goblins and the Night Witch wait, and the evil of the forest is spreading. He finds the dragon and rescues a princess, and learns that the dragon is a truer friend than anyone at the castle. As a blue moon rises bringing Wild Magic, Rupert needs every ally he can find.
