Overview
Forest Kingdom is a fantasy world created by British author Simon R. Green. The Forest Kingdom novels (1991-2014) follow Prince Rupert, a second son sent to slay a dragon, and Princess Julia, as the evil of the Darkwood and the Demon Prince threaten the realm. The Hawk & Fisher novels (1990-1992) are set in the port city of Haven, in the neighbouring Low Kingdoms, where married City Guard captains Hawk and Fisher keep order. Beyond the Blue Moon (2000) reveals that Hawk and Fisher are Rupert and Julia living under new names. The last novel appeared in 2014.
