Synopsis
Seven years after the demon war, the story moves to Castle Midnight, a place where the real and the unreal meet. The king has been murdered and his three sons prepare to fight for the throne. One son is ill, possibly poisoned, so his followers hide the sickness and hire an impersonator to take his place. The Great Jordan, once a famous actor and now a down-on-his-luck travelling player, accepts the royal role. As the unreal grows stronger, parts of the castle turn into dangerous zones full of hallucinations and spectres, and Jordan begins to fear that this part may be his last.
