Synopsis
Born of Blood and Ash is the fourth and concluding novel in the Flesh and Fire series, picking up with Seraphena Mierel reunited with Nyktos after enduring severe hardship at the hands of Kolis, the false King of the Gods. With Sera and Nyktos back on uncertain but shared footing, the two must face an escalating conflict among the primal gods, one that threatens to draw in the wider mortal world as Kolis and his allies continue to consolidate power. As the true Primal of Death works to gather his strength and allies for what is coming, Sera must decide how far she is willing to go, and what parts of her old assassin's instincts she is willing to use again, to stand beside him against Kolis's rule.
