Synopsis
This story is set in a darker time, when Hell has grown stronger and neither the church nor the spooks can hold it back. Wulf and Tilda have been away from the County for years. When an old enemy threatens again, Alice and Tom reach across time to ask for Wulf's help. Wulf must face the Fiend, the most powerful demon he has ever met, and he has to draw on both the abilities he already has and new ones he has only recently gained. Tom and Alice, living in a very different age from Wulf's, wait to see whether the help they have called for can arrive in time to matter, and what it will cost.
