Synopsis
Cry Wolf opens the Alpha and Omega series. Anna Latham survived a violent attack that turned her into a werewolf, then spent three years as the lowest-ranking member of a Chicago pack that mistreated her. When Bran, the leader of all North American werewolves, learns she is an Omega, an exceptionally rare kind of wolf who calms and steadies others, he sends his son Charles to bring her to Montana and claim her as his mate. Newly bonded, Anna and Charles travel into the mountains to investigate a rogue werewolf killing hikers near Charles's territory. As they track the attacks, they discover the rogue is bound to something far more dangerous, a black witch whose magic threatens the stability of Bran's entire pack, forcing the mismatched new couple to learn to work, and trust each other, quickly.
