Synopsis
Azuhr is a world without magic, and only the archpriests of the island of Cilia know of an old prophecy that the coming of the Black Moon will bring a new age of magic. Young Milan Tormeno, the youngest son of the archpriest Nandus, is meant to follow his father into office and become one of the powerful chosen few who steer the fate of the world, but he bears a cursed name: everyone who knew his grandfather Lucio, who once killed thousands without pity to save Cilia, swears that Milan is his very image. Refusing to accept that his future is decided, Milan rebels and flees the city, and is drawn by the master thief Felicia and the mysterious concubine Nok into a web of intrigue that will decide Cilia’s future, as figures from old legends begin to walk the streets.
