Synopsis
After years of warfare across Ulldart, Lodrik, now the powerful Kabcar of Tarpol, works to secure lasting peace over his unified realm, with only the strongholds of the Rogogarders and the Kensustrianians still resisting his efforts at unification. While Lodrik focuses on consolidating his rule and extending peace to the remaining holdouts, his cunning advisor Mortva Nesreca works behind the scenes, orchestrating conspiracies that will draw the ruler into a carefully prepared trap. The story follows Lodrik as he tries to hold his hard-won peace together while remaining largely unaware of the treachery closing in around him from within his own court. Political intrigue and the tension between external resistance and internal betrayal drive this stage of the saga forward.
