Synopsis
Shame Flynn, a Death magic user, and Terric Conley, a Life magic user, have spent three years hiding magical hot spots and hunting criminals who want to misuse magic. Their friends Allie and Zayvion Beckstrom-Jones, who no longer use magic, start asking questions that the two men cannot answer without putting them in danger. When the couple's three-year-old daughter goes missing, the search draws out powerful enemies, ancient magic and dangerous truths that could decide the fate of Shame, Terric and the people they care about most.
