Synopsis
Allie Beckstrom works as a Hound, tracing illegal spells to their casters. Magic always costs her something, such as migraines, amnesia or muscle aches. In this book an apocalyptic storm threatens Portland. If it arrives, it will make all local magic unstable and destructive. Allie and her lover, Zayvion Jones, must work with the Authority, the group that polices magic in the city, to stop the storm before it does lasting damage.
