Synopsis

In the eighth novel of the Phileasson saga, the captains Asleif Phileasson and Beorn der Blender are racing around the continent of Aventuria and facing heroic trials along the way. In this volume the two rivals split up. Phileasson fights in a deep jungle to help a caravan of beggars, while Beorn follows a stone goddess to another world with unexplored shores. The book was written by Bernhard Hennen and Robert Corvus, is set in the world of the role-playing game The Dark Eye, and was published by Heyne in March 2020 as part of the series about the contest for the title King of the Seas.
