Synopsis
The city of Abyme, once dazzling and ornate, has become dull and disfigured under strict, repressive laws. Maspalio, a famous thief-prince who has come back from the Abysses, refuses to let it die. In the maze-like and notorious Quarter of a Thousand Gates, he discovers that a rebellion is stirring beneath the surface of the city. He joins forces with an old sprite, an ogress and five street children, who take up the fight against the ruling power. Together they try to bring back the colour and spirit the city has lost. This is the second volume of the series La Cité exsangue.
