Synopsis
This is the second part of the two-volume novel Abyme. Abyme is a baroque, crowded city at the western edge of the Twilight Realms, where mortals live beside demons, mages, ogres and sprites, and where the world of the living meets the abysses. Maspalio, a cunning sprite and retired thief-prince, has been pulled into a hunt for a demon that escaped from Hell and bound him to a debt. A killer begins to murder people close to him, and he is framed and must fight for his life.
