Synopsis
Freeglader concludes the Rook Barkwater trilogy within the Edge Chronicles. Undertown lies in ruins after the dark maelstrom unleashed in the previous book, and Rook leads its surviving inhabitants on a mass exodus toward the Free Glades, a distant settlement associated with justice and equality. During the journey Rook loses his memory in a violent storm, leaving the refugees without one of their most capable guides just as Shryke battle flocks begin attacking the column. At the same time, the traitorous Amberfuce reaches the Foundry Glade and works with the Goblin Nations to prepare devastating weapons called Glade Eaters, designed from Vox Verlix's plans, aimed at the Free Glades themselves, leaving the fate of the refugees' new home in serious doubt.
