Synopsis
Fyre is the seventh and final novel in the Septimus Heap series, set as Septimus nears the completion of his long training to become the next ExtraOrdinary Wizard. Two Darke wizards, Shamandrigger Saarn and Dramindonnor Naarn, escape confinement within the Two-Faced Ring and possess Silas Heap's brothers, Ernold and Edmund, turning them into vessels for their return to power. Their goal is to reach and destroy the Alchemical Fyre being tended by the alchemist Marcellus Pye, a force whose loss would have severe consequences for the Castle. Septimus and his allies must track the possessed brothers and stop the escaped wizards before the Fyre can be destroyed, even as Septimus's own final steps toward his wizardry are complicated by the unfolding crisis.
