Synopsis
Concluding the Legends of the Emerged World trilogy, the story finds Adhara, now a Consecrated one bound to a mission for the god Shevraar, traveling through a portal into the Unknown Lands, territories beyond the borders of the Emerged World. There she seeks to prevent the schemes of Kryss, the elven king who intends to exterminate the non-elven population of the Emerged World, and who is aided by the Marvash beings Amhal and San, once close to Adhara. Back home, the Emerged World comes under a full elven invasion, and the princess Amina leads the resistance forces defending it. As the elves' assault intensifies and Adhara's search in the Unknown Lands continues, the fates of both fronts move toward the trilogy's climactic reckoning with Kryss's plot.
