Synopsis

Closing the Wars of the Emerged World trilogy, the story unfolds across several linked realms, including Selva, Laodamea, the Land of Wind, the Sea Territory, and the Underwater World. Dubhe, still bound by her curse, and her companion Theana infiltrate the palace of the despot Dohor in search of documents that might explain and break it, while Dohor's son Learco, drawn to Dubhe, begins to question his father's rule. Elsewhere, the mages Lonerin and Sennar search for a mystical talisman that could stop the sorcerer Yeshol from completing his plan to resurrect the tyrant Aster, and the general Ido continues to shelter the young, powerful boy San in the Underwater World from the assassins' guild pursuing him. The separate storylines draw steadily toward a confrontation with the guild.

Notes

  • From the series record (Wars of the Emerged World): Direct continuation trilogy set in the same Mondo Emerso world as Chronicles of the Emerged World, published by Mondadori (2006-2007). No English translation is documented to date.

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.
