Synopsis

Green Rider opens Kristen Britain's series of the same name. Karigan G'ladheon, a merchant's daughter travelling home after being expelled from school, comes upon a dying royal messenger, F'Ryan Coblebay, in the forest. With his last breaths he begs her to carry his urgent, unread message to the king in Sacor City, warning her cryptically to beware a figure he calls the shadow man, and makes her swear an oath to see the message delivered. Taking his winged horse brooch as a token of the role she has unexpectedly inherited, Karigan sets out as a reluctant substitute Green Rider, pursued by unknown dangers determined to keep the message from ever reaching the throne.

Notes

  • From the series record (Green Rider): The main numbered sequence; the author has stated there is no fixed final book count. A ninth novel is scheduled for 2027 and is not yet published, so not registered.

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.
