Synopsis
First Rider's Call continues Karigan's story as she now serves as one of the king's elite Green Rider messengers in Sacor City. Her return to duty coincides with troubling signs that the D'Yer Wall, which has shielded the kingdom of Sacoridia from the corrupted Blackveil Forest for over a thousand years, is beginning to weaken. As dark magic starts to seep through the breach, strange and violent phenomena spread through the borderlands, including animals turned to stone and entire villages vanishing without explanation. The unraveling wall destabilizes the Green Riders as well as the wider kingdom, forcing Karigan and her colleague Mara into greater responsibility even as Karigan discovers she carries a wild, unpredictable magic of her own, one that draws unwanted attention from the ancient evil stirring beyond the crumbling wall.
