Synopsis
Joanne Baldwin, a Weather Warden, is mistaken for a murderer and killed by her own colleagues, then returns as a Djinn, one of the supernatural beings who partner with Wardens. In this new form she senses a sinister threat entering the atmosphere. With the Wardens and Djinn she knows, she has to work out what the threat is and whether she can stop it, while learning to live with a nature and powers she did not choose.
