Synopsis
Humans and orcs live side by side on a shared strip of land, divided by years of war, hatred and a wish for revenge. Captain Rankstrail, who once defeated the orcs, has been missing for a long time. His daughter Chiara, raised by her uncles, can read messages in fire and hear the faintest whispers. Prince Arduin, son of the legendary Yorsh, builds flying machines and falls in love with Chiara. Skardrail, a common soldier, sets out alone through orc territory to find the Captain, because he alone knows that the fate of the human world depends on it. Queen Rosalba, who is courageous, intelligent and carries a fearsome sword, also plays a part. None of them has accounted for one last prophecy.
