Synopsis
Hlanan is taken by Shinjan slavers, and Lhind leaves her self-imposed exile to rescue him. Before she can go, she must face a dragon and learn hard truths about herself. Meanwhile Hlanan, held prisoner, works to free the other slaves of the Shinjan empire. Failure means death for them both; success could mean bringing down two tyrants and changing the world. This is the closing volume of the series.
