Synopsis
Magic Bleeds is the fourth Kate Daniels novel. A mysterious and rapidly spreading virus begins striking down shapeshifters across Atlanta, throwing the already-fragile alliance between the Pack and the wider magical community into disarray. As Kate investigates the outbreak, working alongside Curran and the Pack's own resources, the trail leads her toward Erra, a terrifyingly powerful figure connected to Roland, the ancient sorcerer Kate has spent her life avoiding, forcing long-buried secrets about Kate's own family into the open. With the shapeshifter community increasingly endangered and Kate herself seemingly being deliberately drawn into the open by the source of the plague, she must confront both the immediate threat to the Pack and the deeper implications of her own hidden lineage, secrets she had hoped to keep from public view for a long while yet.
