Synopsis
Magic Moon, known in its original German as Märchenmond, is a young-adult fantasy novel following a boy named Kim who, drawn by strange dreams, discovers a way into an enigmatic, dreamlike realm filled with bizarre monsters and fantastical beings unlike anything in his ordinary life. He undertakes the journey seeking the secret that will free his younger sister, who lies trapped in an unexplained coma back in the real world, a mystery doctors cannot solve through ordinary medicine. As Kim explores this shifting dream-world and its strange inhabitants, gradually earning allies and uncovering fragments of the truth behind both the realm itself and his sister's condition, he must piece together how the two mysteries, his sister's illness and Magic Moon's own secrets, are bound together before either can be resolved.

A German schoolboy, Kim, is drawn into a dream realm called Magic Moon to save his sister's soul, and returns two years later to find the same realm corrupted by machines and greed.
