Synopsis
Midnight, the eleventh book, picks up directly where Resurrection left off. When a ruthless killer abducts Valkyrie Cain's young sister Alice to lure Valkyrie into a final confrontation, Valkyrie has only twelve hours to find her before time runs out. Skulduggery Pleasant and the younger sorcerer Omen Darkly race to catch up with Valkyrie as she pursues the kidnapper alone, each following separate leads through Roarhaven and beyond in an effort to reach Alice in time. The search forces Valkyrie back into direct danger even as she still adjusts to life after her long absence from the field, while Skulduggery and Omen work to close the gap between them and the unfolding crisis.
