Synopsis
The Edge lies between worlds: on one side the Broken, where people shop at Wal-Mart and magic is a fairy tale, on the other the Weird, where blueblood aristocrats rule, changelings roam and the strength of your magic decides your destiny. Edgers can cross into both and belong to neither. Rose Drayton of the Georgia Edge thought that if she practised her magic she could build a better life, but things did not turn out as planned, and now she works an off-the-books job in the Broken to feed her two small brothers, one of whom sees ghosts and the other of whom turns into a cat. Then Declan Camarine, a blueblood noble from the deepest Weird, arrives determined to have Rose and her power. When a flood of creatures hungry for magic invades the Edge, the two must work together or the beasts will devour the Edge and everyone in it.
