Synopsis
On the outside, Dina DeMille is normal: she runs a quaint Victorian bed-and-breakfast in a small Texas town and keeps a Shih Tzu named Beast. But Dina is an innkeeper, and her inn, the Gertrude Hunt, is not a normal inn: it is a sentient building, a way-stop on Earth for galactic travellers who must keep their existence hidden from humanity, and inside its walls Dina's broom is a weapon and the inn obeys her thoughts. When something starts killing dogs in the neighbourhood, and the neighbour's new werewolf, Sean Evans, turns out not to be the only predator around, Dina's quiet existence is over. She has an inn to protect, a vampire and a werewolf to manage, and a creature loose in her town that none of the galaxy's civilised species will admit to. The first Innkeeper Chronicles novel, serialised free online before publication.
