Synopsis
Oracle is the penultimate book of the House War sequence. Jewel Markess ATerafin, a seer-born leader of House Terafin, struggles to control her gift. Soon after becoming head of the House, she leaves on a journey to the realm of a demigoddess who promises to help her master her abilities. She travels with a band of mortals and immortals, including talking cats and the former consort of the Wild Hunt's mistress. Back in Averalaan, her surviving den-kin hold power in the House and work to keep it until she returns, while the Sleepers beneath the city begin to stir and the threat to the Empire grows.
