Synopsis
On High Crag, a storm-lashed cliff on the coast of Cornwall, the Grigori are gathering as the new millennium approaches, and some of them are preparing to take control of the world. Something ancient and powerful sleeps beneath the cliffs. Peverel Othman, the fallen angel Shemyaza, arrives there after leaving the village of Little Moor in ruins. With him are Daniel, who has become a seer, and the twins Owen and Lily Winter. The Grigori who live at High Crag cannot tell what he wants. He may have come to help his own kind, to take the side of their human followers, or to use both groups to win back the power he once held as an avenging angel.
