Synopsis

Seer of Sevenwaters, the fifth novel in the series, follows Sibeal, one of Clodagh's sisters and a young druid in training who is preparing to take her final vows and commit herself fully to a contemplative, seer's life within the order at Sevenwaters. Her plans are disrupted when a shipwreck washes ashore near her home, leaving among its survivors a Viking named Felix who has lost his memory and his sense of who he is. As Sibeal helps care for Felix, a troubling vision received during one of her divinations points her toward a journey she cannot avoid, drawing the reluctant seer away from the settled religious path she had chosen and into a voyage alongside the stranger whose past remains a mystery to them both.

Notes

  • From the series record (Sevenwaters): One continuous three-generation family saga (the descendants of Sorcha of Sevenwaters); treated as a single continuous Core Canon sequence rather than split by generation, per the multi-sub-arc-as-one-Core-saga precedent (also applied to Kushiel's Legacy's three sequential trilogies).

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.
