Synopsis
StarMan concludes the Axis Trilogy, picking up after the events of Enchanter as Axis, now bearing the heritage and power he has spent the series claiming, leads his assembled military forces north to confront Gorgrael, the enemy whose armies have menaced Achar since Battleaxe. Having drawn together the Acharites, the Icarii and the Avar under his command, Axis marches to bring the long-building conflict to its climax, while the personal ties formed across the trilogy, including his relationships with Faraday and Azhure, and his fraught history with his half-brother Borneheld, continue to shape the choices he makes as commander. The campaign tests both the alliance Axis has forged among the three peoples and his own transformation from an illegitimate soldier into the figure prophecy long pointed toward, as the final struggle against Gorgrael's forces approaches.
