Synopsis
Kate Gordon visits her great aunt in Blade, Oregon, where a hidden grove of giant redwoods in a fog-filled place called Lost Crater is at the centre of a fight between those who want it protected and those who want to log it. When Kate follows an old Native trail into the crater, she is sent back five hundred years. There she meets a young Halami girl, a young logger named Jody and other allies, and faces Gashra, a volcanic creature determined to destroy what it cannot control. To get home, and to save the forest, Kate must solve an ancient riddle and make a hard choice.
