Synopsis
Tae and his closest friends must break a curse of sterility that the Dark Elves have laid on the humans of Midgard. To do it they must find the lost shards of the Pica, a sapphire that may hold the key to elvish magic. Tae also has to keep Rascal, an unpredictable and amoral ally raised on the streets, focused on the task. Meanwhile, in Valhalla, the immortal Renshai Colbey Calistinsson works to keep the gods, especially Odin, from shattering the Balance of the Worlds. The book continues the Renshai Chronicles begun with Beyond Ragnarok.
