Overview
Mickey Zucker Reichert's Renshai novels, published by DAW Books, are Norse-inspired epic fantasies set in a world where Odin, Thor and Loki, wizards and mortal peoples are caught in the struggle between Law and Chaos. The Renshai Trilogy (1992-1993) follows Colbey Calistinsson, a Renshai warrior who survives the destruction of his tribe and is drawn toward the Seven Tasks of Wizardry and the threat of Ragnarok. The Renshai Chronicles (1995-1998) continues after those events with a mostly new cast, and Flight of the Renshai (2009, 2015, 2018) follows the brothers Saviar, Subikahn and Calistin.
