Synopsis
Emereck is a travelling minstrel and Flindaran is a nobleman living in disguise. Together they come upon a castle that has stood abandoned for a very long time, and inside it they find the Harp of Imach Thyssel, an instrument of great power. Others also want the harp, and it can do terrible harm in the wrong hands. Emereck, who has the skill to play it, must learn how to master its magic before it is taken from them, while Flindaran's hidden past and the people who pursue them complicate the journey.
