Synopsis
During a siege in his old age, the legendary warrior Druss recounts a story from his past to a young soldier eager to understand how the legend was made. In it, a younger Druss and his companion Sieben travel to the land of the Gothir and become caught up in dangerous local political intrigue that soon threatens to spiral beyond their control. When Druss's friend Klay suffers a life-threatening injury in the course of these events, the pair journey deep into hostile Nadir lands seeking legendary healing artifacts, where Druss forges an uneasy alliance with a Nadir warrior named Talisman to help defend a sacred shrine from invasion.
