Synopsis
In the sixth book of The Hollows series, Rachel Morgan faces the fallout of forbidden demon magic she used in an earlier crisis to protect her friends, while investigating a mysterious murder tied to her past. The demon Algaliarept becomes obsessed with claiming her for his own purposes, and a shocking family revelation forces Rachel to reconsider everything she thought she knew about her own origins. To find a way to secure her freedom from the demon's claim, she is pushed to venture into the demonic realm itself, a place no living witch enters willingly, and to bargain from a position of real weakness for the first time.
