Synopsis
Claire Hansen and her cat Austin have settled into running the Kingston guest house, with Dean as more than a handyman, when Claire's teenaged sister Diana, a Keeper-in-training with more power than sense, makes a small mistake with a Summoning and accidentally creates a gateway that lets an angel and a demon into the world. They arrive in human form as Samuel and Bythe, beings meant to embody the Light and the Darkness, with every opportunity to tip the world's balance, and both must learn very quickly how to be teenagers on Earth, from food and clothes to music and sex. Claire and Diana have to get them home before either side wins, while the angel discovers dogs and the demon discovers shopping. The second book, which reviewers found wittier than the first.
