Overview
Tanya Huff's comic urban fantasy trilogy (DAW, 1998-2003) follows Claire Hansen, a Keeper, one of the hereditary order who keep the universe in one piece by sealing the places where Darkness and Light leak into the world, and her talking cat Austin, who has opinions about everything. Summon the Keeper lands them in a Kingston, Ontario, bed-and-breakfast built over a hole to Hell; The Second Summoning brings an angel and a demon to Earth as teenagers by her sister Diana's mistake; Long Hot Summoning sends both sisters into a shopping mall that is turning evil. A lighter, sillier book than Huff's Blood Books, and a separate world from them.
