Synopsis
Set in Dena Nehele, a land left broken after years of corrupt rule, this novel follows Theran Grayhaven, last survivor of his family line, as he searches for a Queen capable of restoring his shattered territory using a long-hidden inheritance. He and his allies choose Lady Cassidy, a Rose-Jeweled Queen from the Shadow Realm who doubts her own worth and has spent her life feeling overlooked next to more glamorous Queens. Alongside her is Gray, Theran's cousin, a Warlord Prince scarred by past cruelty who finds unexpected purpose in serving her. As Cassidy struggles to win the loyalty of embittered, wary men and prove she can lead, the story asks whether genuine healing is possible for a land and its people after so much devastation.
