Synopsis
The Shadow Throne shifts its focus to the kingdom's capital, Vordan City, as the ailing king's health worsens and his daughter Raesinia, next in line to become the first ruling queen in centuries, is drawn into danger. Duke Orlanko, the Minister of Information who commands the secret police known as the Concordat, holds a damaging secret over Raesinia that gives him significant leverage over her future reign. Desperate to break free of Orlanko's control and address the corruption spreading through the regime, Raesinia turns to the returning war hero Janus bet Vhalnich and his officers Marcus d'Ivoire and Winter Ihernglass for help.
