Synopsis
Yen Olass is a female oracle from the Collosnon Empire, a state loosely modelled on the Mongols. In a society dominated by men she is made to endure much hardship, and the novel follows her through the empire's wars of conquest and the politics around its warlords. It was originally planned as the second book of the series. The story is narrated from her point of view.
