Synopsis
Valour continues the war for the Banished Lands as High King Nathair's crusade, secretly backed by the scheming Queen Rhin, sweeps across the realm with few able to resist him. Cywen, left for dead after the fall of her homeland, survives as an enemy prisoner and finds herself unexpectedly useful to Nathair and his advisor Calidus, who begin to see potential in her. Meanwhile the young warrior Corban, now hailed by some as a figure of prophecy, flees his conquered homeland with a small band of companions, facing giants and mountain predators as he struggles to become the leader others already believe him to be. Beyond the mortal war, dark forces in the Otherworld continue plotting to bring the demonic Fallen into the world of flesh, edging the realm closer to a far greater reckoning.
