Synopsis
Lia de Croissets is an officer of the War Mage Corps. Someone is trying to kidnap Sebastian Arnou, the leader of the Were world, and the powerful Clan Rand, which has split the Were community, is seeking revenge. Rand has allied with the Black Circle, and one of its mages seems personally interested in Lia and her small clan of former outlaw wolves. The attacks appear aimed at getting something from her, and the answer could affect both her own life and the wider war.
