Overview
Three independent, densely imagined novels set on the world of Bas-Lag, mostly in and around the sprawling, grotesque city of New Crobuzon: a metropolis of rival species, secret police, and Remade convicts fused with machinery. Each novel follows a different cast and story with no shared protagonist or direct continuation, a New Weird landmark sequence unified by setting rather than plot.
