Overview
Monica Furlong's Doran books are set in medieval Scotland and Cornwall in early Christian times. Juniper (1990) is a prequel about Juniper's own apprenticeship and the struggle for her father's throne. Colman (2004) continues the story after Juniper and Wise Child flee a witchcraft accusation and travel to Juniper's homeland.
