Overview
Eon is Alison Goodman's complete two-book Asian-inspired secondary-world fantasy duology, following Eona, a girl who has disguised herself as a boy for years to train as a Dragoneye apprentice, one of twelve who bond with a zodiac dragon and wield its magic in service of the empire. Published in Australia and the UK in 2008 as The Two Pearls of Wisdom (retitled Eon: Dragoneye Reborn for the US market), the story concluded in 2011 with Eona (also published as Eona: The Last Dragoneye).
