Overview

Katherine Addison's Chronicles of Osreth is best known by its foundational novel, The Goblin Emperor (2014): a courtly political fantasy following an unwanted, sheltered half-goblin heir suddenly thrust onto the throne of the elven empire Ethuveraz after his father and half-brothers die in an airship "accident." A trilogy follow-up, the Cemeteries of Amalo series, later returned to the same world through a minor character from the original novel, Thara Celehar, relocated to the city of Amalo. Surfaced by cross-referencing World Fantasy Award Best Novel history.
