Overview
The First Bright Thing is a 2023 standalone historical fantasy with magical-realism elements by J.R. Dawson. Set in 1926, it follows Rin, the ringmaster of the traveling Circus Bright, a troupe of performers who each carry a genuine magical gift, from illusion to more dangerous, uncontrollable abilities.
